Team Jesus Update: Miami Pride 2025 Recap

Greetings Beloved! I hope you’re doing amazing!

What a special time it was ministering in South Beach, Miami. The estimates were that around 180,000 people would be in attendance for the 2025 Gay Pride event, and it was definitely a mob scene. Here’s some news on the event itself- miami pride 2025 – Search News

Thankfully, God was faithful to raise up an army to go into that dark environment and shine His Light. We connected with about 15 people from the Atlanta area, led by Phillip Renner, the missionary son of Pastor Rick Renner- Renner Ministries

And joining Phillip was well known evangelist Gabriel Storm- Gabriel Storm (@gabrielstormofficial) • Instagram photos and videos

We also connected with a team from my favorite East Coast Church- Revive, which is near Port St. Lucie- Revive Church | Home

And it was awesome to also be there with our friend Brittany, who drove from Alabama to join us, and our friend Kaitlyn, who came from Panama City. Kaitlyn was delivered out of homosexuality about 2 years ago after over a decade of living as a lesbian. She is the one kneeling in the pic above.

This was our 3rd year in row ministering at this event, and this year I had an extra level of zeal for this mission. That zeal was inspired by what I discovered the week before regarding how the enemy used Miami to launch the Gay Rights movement, agenda and narrative across America in 1977. It’s a deep, dark story and is well documented in this video:

Knowing all of this, I recognized that where we were going was not just a place of grievous sin, but a place where a door was opened for sin to come broadly upon America. Having Kaitlyn there to not only evangelize, but to also do prophetic worship (which the Lord has really anointed her for) felt like such a weapon against the gates of hell over that region.

We posted up at “The Rainbow Crosswalk”, a place literally dedicated to memorializing how South Beach Miami was used to advance homosexuality.

We ministered there for about 5-6 hours the first day, about 4-5 hours the first night, and about 5-6 hours the second day. There were hundreds and hundreds of people that came by during all that time. Here’s some of the worship that was happening at the crosswalk, and in this clip, Kaitlyn begins singing part of her testimony and the power of God hits her like a flood.

During the daytime we were blocked from going into the permitted event area, but at night we joined the other crew and we were all able to set up inside and do worship, which was awesome.

Here’s an update I made that evening.

Throughout the day and evening we had many Divine appointments. Here are a few pics of the ministry that went on.

By far the most dramatic encounter was with the man pictured above with Kaityln in the baseball hat. He was raised Pentecostal and admitted that he was struggling with guilt over his homosexuality. I spoke with him for a few minutes and then Kaitlyn talked to him for a while. At one point, I looked over and he had his hands up and he was crying out for God. He ended up repenting and getting filled with the spirit.

The rest of the people we talked to were generally very open. We handed out about 300 Jesus waters, over 100 scripture booklets, and I personally prayed with over 25 people. Two girls were even crying as I prayed for them, and a heterosexual couple (who stumbled onto the event), even prayed to receive Christ and received probably an hour of biblical counsel right at the crosswalk. This is them:

The saddest thing about the trip was hearing from so many homosexuals that they “love Jesus” and genuinely feel like they are following Him. I even met a “married” couple from NC that was attending a United Methodist “church” that taught that the bible doesn’t actually condemn homosexuality if it is between two people in a loving monogamous relationship.

To add to all their deception, there was even a “church” that chose to participate in the Sunday Parade, and this is how they are promoting themselves:

I was grateful to be able to bring some light, love and truth into that environment, but boy, do we have our work cut out for us! Lord help us!

It was also cool that I was invited to preach at my friend’s church in North Miami Beach on Sunday morning at their bilingual service. I shared a message on the 3 Biblical Motivations to evangelize, and it was great fun. You can see it here-

What was extra cool about this experience was that Pastor Ariel sent an Uber for me and I ended up having an amazing Divine appointment with my driver. He recently moved here from Cuba, and he told me that churches and bibles were illegal during much of his life, so he didn’t know much about Jesus. I spent most of the 40-minute ride telling him about the Gospel and sharing many different testimonies including about Natalie, my friend Naya who was healed of blindness, and my own.

Before I got out of the car, while in the church parking lot (getting ready to preach about evangelism), I prayed for him, and the Lord touched him. He then told me that I was the first one to ever pray for him in his entire life. What an honor. I’m now connected with him on Facebook, and he can see Jesus content every time he looks at my page. This experience made for a fun story to share as I gave my message.

All in all, it was an amazing trip, and I believe MUCH was accomplished even far beyond just the souls that were saved or impacted. I made this little video sharing my heart on how things went:

The next day at The Front, I got to share a more detailed recap of the trip. In my recap. I shared the wildest testimony of the entire trip. I won’t spoil it all for you, but we almost got shut down by a gay code compliance officer in the first 20 minutes of the first day…. but God moved on the man’s heart, and he repented right before my eyes.

Thank you so much for praying and/or giving to this trip. It was SO worth it, and we are definitely going back next year!

Love and blessings!

Chris

P.S.- How cool that even Natalie was evangelizing with us! And she looks so Miami, doesn’t she!?
