Team Jesus Update: October 16, 2025

Happy Thursday Family of God! What a week it has been!

The big news of course is the massive breakthrough with Israel and Hamas, which has (at this point anyway) led to a peace deal. Once again, all over Israel, President Trump is being hailed as the modern-day Cyrus, as it was prophesied as far back as 2016.

Several months before the election, the Lord drew my attention to the books of Ezra and Nehemiah (which describes in detail how the Lord used King Cyrus to advance His purposes) and He began to plant this belief in my heart that Trump was going to be re-elected…so that he would help open the door for the Jews to rebuild their Temple- just as King Cyrus did. I also felt strongly that Trump would be used to help American Christians figuratively rebuild that which we lost over the generations as the Marxist movement has taken over our land.

I did a teaching on this in December of 2024, and so far it looks like it is all coming to pass. Check it out below if you haven’t heard it yet:

On a personal/ministerial note, another cool thing that happened this week was that I was invited to teach an evangelism class at a local Youth Group:

What is interesting is that just hours before I got the request to do this, I had a vision of linking up with home school groups and youth groups and teaching them evangelism. Given that this was the first time I had such a vision, and given that it was the first time I had ever been asked to teach a class like this to a youth group, and given that both happened on the same day just hours apart… it makes me believe that this must be something that the Lord wants me/us to work towards. Please keep me lifted up for direction and grace regarding that.

As for the weekend, we had a powerful time.

Friday night was a little light in terms of traffic, but we still got to minister to a good amount of people. Praise God, 4 people that professed that they were not following Jesus even allowed me to share the gospel with them and pray for them to receive revelation. I was even talking to one guy for about 15 minutes who had fallen away from the faith when he was young. He was passing through town on his way back to Arizona. So cool how God set things up!

On Saturday, many kids and youth came over to receive gifts, prayer and ministry. Here’s one clip of a bunch of them coming over towards the end of the night:

It was also cool to see several people that we led to the Lord come back and receive prayer and counsel, including these 3 siblings who all got saved at Riverwalk about two months ago:

Another VERY cool thing that happened that night was the activation of a woman named Nancy, who came to minister with us for the first time. She heard me speak at Hope International Ministries a few weeks ago and the Lord really convicted her that she needed to start evangelizing. Although she said she lacked confidence and experience, she said that she knew that it was what the Lord wanted her to do. This was part of a text thread between us last week:

When she got to Riverwalk, she was still a little nervous, but once she started talking to people…it was like a switch got flipped. Before long, she was going up to people left and right and telling them about Jesus and praying for them. It was awesome!

It was amazing to see what happened with the family on the right too. The mom told us that she had fallen away from God years ago, but that night she got touched by the Spirit in tears and opened her heart back up to the Lord.

All in all, I think we prayed with 15-20 people to receive Jesus that night, it was awesome.

On Sunday, we got blessed with some of the best weather we’ve had all year. Cool, breezy, sunny and simply gorgeous. Because of that, the beach was packed.

It was a very fruitful night too. Good conversations, lots of materials handed out, and a number of people prayed with. Early in the night, this young man came up to me and asked me to pray for him:

He then opened up to me about all the sin in his life and told me that he knows that he needs to follow God. He didn’t have much understanding of what that was supposed to look like though, so we talked for over 30 minutes about how to walk the narrow road. He prayed with me to receive Jesus and was super thankful.

Later on, I met a man who just got released from prison, who was a backslidden believer. We had a very good conversation, and he prayed with me to come back to the Lord.

It was also cool to see a good-sized crowd coming over after sunset as we worshipped. At one point it even looked like a few dozen people were engaged. Here’s one clip I got that shows a little bit of that:

It was also cool to hear from several drummers that night that they have been following our ministry on Facebook. I even talked to a few of them about our trip to New England, which was cool.

BIG thanks to all who came out last weekend- Thom, Amber, Mike, Sarath, Ayesha, Nancy, Babe, Carol, Michelle, Papa Yogi, Bridget, Ricardo and Gene. Great work everyone!!!

Speaking of our team doing great work, I calculated how many God’s Promises books we’ve given out so far this year, and it is 478. This is especially amazing given that last year we only gave out 300, and we still have almost a full quarter left to go in 2025. Yet another sign of revival!

Lastly, keep us lifted up as we make the final preparations for our trip to Key West next week. It will be our third year in a row ministering at this CRAZY event called “Fantasy Fest” where it is debauchery on another level. It’s essentially a mix of Mardis Gras, Spring Break, Halloween and Gay Pride. More info here- Official Fantasy Fest Website – Key West, Florida

That’s all for today!

Hope to see you on the mission fields again this weekend! The harvest is ripe, but the workers are few!!!

Love and blessings,

Chris
