This year we went to Key West to minister at “Fantasy Fest” for the 3rd year in a row and it was awesome!
Unlike some of our other mission trips, the Key West mission seems to have a life of its own. I say that because it has been clearly evident from the beginning that our trips were preplanned by God and were part of a larger plan to reclaim the city (and I believe the nation), for His Kingdom. On that note, let me give you a little backstory.
In 2023, the Lord opened the door for our team to minister at big events across the state of Florida. That year, we did Gasparilla in January, Spring Break in March, Miami Pride in April, and by His grace He also provided what we needed to go WAY down south to Key West with a team to minister at Fantasy Fest. Fantasy Fest is essentially a 10-day festival of debauchery that is pretty much a cross between Mardis Gras, Halloween, Spring Break and Gay Pride. It was EXACTLY the type of demonic environment that we wanted to shine the Light in.
As I usually do, I planned to leave on this trip on Tuesday afternoon, so that I could work Monday, get prayed over at The Front Monday night, devote the Tuesday morning prayer set at The House of Prayer to the trip, and then hit the road.
On Monday night, an apostolic leader over the state named Ken Malone was scheduled to speak, so we had a very large crowd. During the announcements, I shared a little bit about our Key West mission trip and then many from the church, including Ken, came and prayed over me. A few minutes later Ken got up to speak and mentioned right off the bat, that our trip was a confirmation of his message.
Ken told us that he was on a 22-city tour across Florida, called the Isaiah 22 tour. He said that he was given a mandate by God to bring a message across the state that was based on a prophetic word that his friend Chuck Pierce (who is a nationally recognized prophet) had released, which was about- THE FLORIDA KEYS.
He told us that it was an Isaiah 22 tour because of the verse in Isaiah 22:22- “Then I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder, when he opens no one will shut, when he shuts no one will open.“
He said that the prophetic word about the Florida Keys, and especially Key West, had to do with a false god named “pan” who was worshipped in the temple at Caesarea Phillipi. This was the temple that Jesus was standing in front of when He said this in Matthew 16-
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.”
Ken said that the pan spirit, which is one of the main spiritual drivers of homosexuality, had a massive altar in Key West. He also talked about how Key West is the southern gate of the United States, and that not only was pan worshipped there, but because the church of Key West had failed to do its job, that pan was actually occupying the southern gate. As I have done my research, I come to conclude that pans occupation was fully secured when this happened over 20 years ago:
*Interesting side note- shortly after this event, the last anti-sodomy law in America was officially struck down.
He went on to say that a major key to revival and awakening across America was moving the pan spirit off of the Southern Gate and reclaiming it for the Kingdom of God. He made note that us leaving the very next day after his message was clear confirmation that our mission trip was going to be a key to reclaiming the southern gate and causing a shift in the nation.

That first year, we saw lots of amazing God things. One thing that was quite profound though was that when we went to the Southernmost point (i.e. the southern gate) to pray and worship, we saw a tall, lean man in a thong standing right in front of the pier, with his hands on his hips. He honestly looked like what you would picture a gay superhero to look like. He stood immovable for the first 10+ minutes that we were on the pier, and then, even though he was 100+ yards away and he couldn’t hear word we were saying, as soon as we began to decree against the pan spirit…he put on his clothes and left. It really felt like a sign.

Another thing that was cool about that years’ trip was that we connected with Patti Walker, the wife of the Pastor of Calvary Chapel, who had been VERY discouraged by what they had seen happen to Key West over the years. Adam, her husband was out of the area working with the Billy Graham association in Texas, but Patti ministered with us, and she got REALLY encouraged by us being there.
When we went the following year, Pastor Adam made sure he was in town and he came out evangelizing with us every night. He told me that it was the first time in 18 years that he had been evangelizing in Key West and he loved it. On the last night of our trip, Adam asked me if our team would come and pray over an old church building he was hoping to take over. The building is near Duval Street, where Fantasy Fest takes place.
After we left Key West, Adam committed himself to continuing to do the work of an evangelist, and for the next year, he and Patti evangelized on Duval Street every Friday. Amazingly, after just a few months, the Lord opened a major door for them to take over the building for next to nothing.

And what is really amazing about it, is that the building is even big enough to house missionaries. This year, in 2025, 10 different missionaries were able to stay there during the Fantasy Fest mission trip in 2025.

The entire thing seemed so prophetic too. The first year- the pan spirit got kicked out. The second year, the ecclesia began to rise up to occupy the land. And by the third year, a physical building was given to both symbolize that occupation, and to further it.
And amazingly the church is right near the old Key West Lighthouse too. Also, VERY prophetic!
I told Adam that God has anointed him to be a Lighthouse keeper in Key West, and to ensure the light keeps shining into the darkness.
Now, as far as the Fantasy Fest ministry- it was great. We had an awesome crew from all over. Here’s most of us:
Thousands of people heard the gospel, and we got to personally minister to dozens of people too. And, despite the crazy environment we were in, we saw God touch hearts and bring conviction every night.

The only serious pushback we got was from these two guys. They are “elders” at a gay affirming Episcopal church on Duval Street, where we had set up. They are in a gay relationship, and once that came out, they argued with us, called us names and made some threats against us. Thankfully though, during the interaction they heard ALOT of Truth about their sin. After seeing them on night one, we never saw them again, even though we set up near the same spot the next two nights. I have to believe that God brought conviction.
Probably the person who I saw get the most dramatically touched was this woman, Anastasia. She came to Fantasy Fest dressed as a condom and on our last night, when she heard the Word, she came over for prayer. Holy Spirit touched her powerfully and she asked me for my number so we could pray together again. She texted me that night and we talked the next day. Turns out she fell away from God years ago when her grandma died and she said she had a spiritual awakening on Duval Street. So cool!

Another memorable moment from the final night was when this angry man on a bike came over and blasted his speaker at us to try and drown us out. We tried to love on him, but he just kept getting angry. I knew the joy of the Lord is my strength, so after some Holy Spirit deliberation, I decided to do a joy filled Jericho dance around him while listening to the Sean Feucht song “The Joy of the Holy Ghost”.
Amazingly, it was right about when we completed our 7th round that the man rode off defeated. It was epic! Thankfully Rochelle got a short video:
Pretty cool too, that after we posted the video and tagged Sean Feucht, he reposted it with this statement- “this is my favorite!”
After 4 powerful days, we headed back on Saturday afternoon. While driving home, I tuned in to the service at Victory Church and to my shock, Pastor Brian actually taught on the pan spirit and the temple at Caesarea Phillipi in his message that night.

Only two times in my entire life have I ever heard anyone speak about the pan spirit in a message. The first was the night before I left for our first Key West trip and the second was the day I came back from my 3rd. I knew God was trying to get my attention.
Then God REALLY blew my mind.
The next day Sofiya and I were invited to her sister and brother in laws baby dedication. He sent me the address and I was stunned. It was literally at the exact same intersection that Ken Malone mentioned in his 2023 message, which was a prophetic confirmation of how the work that is done in Key West will affect all of America. What are the odds!?
Interestingly, the Lord REALLY impressed on my heart while I was in Key West, that I needed to establish “The Southern Gate House of Prayer” at Calvary Chapel. Initially this would involve me visiting multiple times throughout the year, doing worship and intercession there, and inviting others to do the same. The baby dedication seemed symbolic of me dedicating myself to raising this “baby” of an idea. Interestingly the babies name is Abraham.
Another thing that was interesting was that the Lord kept speaking to me about how the things happening in Key West were in many ways a result of the communist influence coming from Cuba, which is only 90 miles away.
When I got to work the Monday after I returned, someone had cut this out of the newspaper and left it on my desk. In it, I was quoted talking about the communist influence over America.
So, I think that the Lord has certainly made His will clear. Because of that, in 2026 I will be planning to take several trips to Key West to stay at the church and work to establish a house of prayer. Please pray for the Lords will to be done in this.
