Team Jesus Update: February 27th, 2025

Happy Thursday beloved! I hope all is Glorious!

For weeks now, I’ve been reporting on some of the different indicators of the spiritual revival happening in America. From young athletes boldly proclaiming their love for Jesus, to revival meetings sweeping across college campuses, to voting trends and survey reports…all the signs indicate that America is starting to turn back towards God.

On that note, a Pew Research report was just released, which led even the ultra-liberal New York Times to publish this article:

The report showed that although American’s have been progressively less likely to self-identify as Christian over the past 15+ years…the numbers are now stabilizing.

Here’s a recent CBN report about that and about the rising level of spiritual hunger on college campuses nationwide:

Of course, it is no coincidence that this is happening alongside the radical change in government that we are witnessing, given that the former likely caused the latter.

On that note, check out what happened at the Trump administration’s first cabinet meeting…they began it in prayer to Jesus!

Here’s the video:

It was also announced recently that the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, a national arts center, will host a “huge celebration of the birth of Christ” at Christmastime.

So amazing!

And, as we are witnessing this once in a generation move of God unfold before our eyes, the Lord has also decided to give us a sign in the heavens to let us know that this is a very unique time:

It will take place on Friday night, being most visible around 8:30pm.

What an exciting time to be alive!

It was a powerful time on the mission fields this weekend too.

Friday was a special day for me, in that it was the 4-year anniversary of when I officially announced that I would be transitioning to part time office work in order to do more outreaches. It was amazing to meditate on all that the Lord has done over the past 4 years to allow our teams to reach over 100,000 people with the Gospel. He’s so good!

Friday’s outreach at Bayfront was great and at least one person prayed to receive the Lord. I’m so proud of the Karson and the team leading it without me for the third straight week!

On Saturday, Riverwalk was filled with hundreds of people who came out for the boat races, so we set up near the skate park and had a powerful time. Person after person stopped by for a tract or a conversation. After just a few hours, I must have prayed for around 20 people, including several that prayed to receive the Lord. I even met a couple who just buried their 28-year-old son that morning and I got to see God touch them in their time of grief.

I also got to meet 4 teenagers from Happy Gospel church who are on fire for Jesus. They said they want to come back and minister with us in the future, which will be awesome.

I was also VERY happy to see that the playground in Rossi Park is open again, which means much bigger crowds in the months to come!

On Sunday, the weather was gorgeous, and the parking lot was FULL. It was by far the busiest beach day I’ve seen in a while, and we reached SO many people. We gave away a lot of tracts (which is not always the case), many people stopped for prayer, and several prayed to receive Jesus.

It was also great to see so many people listening as the Word was going forth. There were even two separate times when people publicly responded to the altar call. Two people came up each time. Here’s pics from the second time:

I also met a man (whose parents are pastors), who is backslidden and in homosexuality. By the end of the conversation, he was asking to connect with me online and saying he wanted to come to our church.

At another point, a man whom I spoke with extensively about Jesus in early January (who initially told me he didn’t believe in God), came up and thanked me for having that conversation with him and told me that it was meaningful. This was almost two months ago, and I hadn’t seen him since. Before he left, he let me pray over him and his Christian wife was so happy to see his heart opening up to the Lord.

The CRAZIEST moment of Sunday though was at the very beginning of the outreach. I’ll give you the backstory, so you understand how cool this was.

About 3 months ago, I upgraded my old iPhone (FINALLY) to a newer model. I decided to keep it though so I could use it at the outreaches to play music while keeping my new phone free to make calls.

But…about two weeks after I got the new one…I lost the old one! I was so bummed! I looked EVERYWHERE for it too- in my house, in my van, everywhere. It was NOWHERE to be found.

Fast forward to Sunday night- I was at the beach unloading the gear, and I went to pull my speaker out (the same one I use every Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and as I did…my old phone, which I literally haven’t seen for over two months…just fell on the ground right in front of me!

AND it still had power!

I felt like I saw manna come out of heaven!

God is so good! 🥳📲

BIG thanks to everyone who made it out this past weekend!!!

Tonight, I’m excited to go to the Fairgrounds for the unity event called “Fire in Florida” which kicks off with evangelist Todd White.

Each one of these speakers carries a strong anointing for very specific assignments too.

Todd White is a bold apostolic evangelist, Will Hart leads Iris Global a missions organization connected with Heidi and Roland Baker, Gio Munoz has helped to spearhead a major move of unity in the Tampa Bay region- bringing over 75 ministries together to work to bring the Kingdom to the Tampa Bay community, and David Bradshaw leads Awaken the Dawn- a ministry dedicated to rebuilding the tabernacle of David across the nation.

I believe this event will not only be a catalyst to the local body of Christ but will also be a multilayered spiritual deposit to our region. And so cool that it will be under a tent!

Hope to see you there and on the mission fields!

Love and blessings!

Chris, Sofiya and Natalie
