Greetings Family, hope all is well!
This has been a bit of a tough week. The weight of the finality of saying “see you later” to Azalea on Sunday has been hitting me pretty hard. I could definitely use your prayers.

Despite that though, I’m grateful that she had such a sweet send off. To be honest, between the short notice and the sensitivity of the occasion, I didn’t think that many would make it to her celebration of life. I was grateful to see that I was wrong about that. This picture was taken after some people had already left.

It was powerful to have one last time of prayer for her to rise too. Pretty much everybody joined in on that, including my mom. I’m so thankful that even though it didn’t happen, we will still get to fellowship with her one day.
After we placed her in the ground, I looked over and saw this statue of Jesus holding a baby lamb. That was such a great reminder that she is in good hands.

As for the outreaches, I took a 4-state road trip on Friday and Saturday, so I missed Bayfront and Riverwalk, but I heard everything was smooth and fruitful.
After the service on Sunday, my flesh definitely wanted to go home and stay home, but I knew Azalea (and Jesus) would have wanted me to do my part to bring about some spiritual resurrections, so I ministered at Siesta. It was definitely a tough night to minister, but it was also very therapeutic to boldly proclaim the goodness of God in the midst of that tough moment.
It was a really good night too. Even though we were only there for a couple of hours, many people took tracts and gifts, we got to pray for a good amount of people, and we saw a lot of engagement. Here’s one video of people gathered during worship.
Thank you to all who came and served this past weekend! I know it brings joy to the heart of God.
Hope to see you again soon.
Blessings and love,
