Team Jesus Update: October 9th, 2026

Happy Friday Beloved! Hope all is well!

It’s been another eventful week.

In my last report, you may recall me mentioning that the Florida Department of Education was leaning towards reintroducing the science of creation and intelligent design into K-12 curriculums again. This was an official announcement about it:

Last week the FLDOE held a virtual meeting where they took comments from the public about this initiative, and about 270 people attended. From what I heard, nearly all 29 people that chose to speak (other than me) voiced a negative comment about it. Which is not surprising because angry atheists are usually pretty vocal.

As you’d expect though, when I spoke, I was very boldly showing my support.

What I came to find out a few days later was that there were some liberal spies in the meeting that recorded my comments and shared them with the Orlando Sentinel. Some of those comments (minus the specific things I said about why Darwinian Evolution is so ridiculous) made it into their article about it.

I totally discovered this by accident, and I LAUGHED OUT LOUD when I saw it.

This paper has over 200,000 daily readers and all that saw this got to get a seed of Truth about this topic. Praise GOD!!!

Then, a few days later I saw that the South Florida Sun Sentinel wrote an article about this as well:

And they actually republished the exact same article from the Orlando Sentinel. Praise God, Darwinian Evolution was publicly rebuked again:

What is so wild is that these are two of the most read papers in the state of Florida. Combined they have upwards of 450,000 daily readers.

Defintely a stroke of Heavenly humor!

The other thing that is so encouraging about this is that last summer I went on mission to the place that was the open door for evolution to be taught in American schools. My friend and I prayed over it and asked God to bring creation and intelligent design back into school curriculums…and here we are seeing it happen for the first time in decades. Definitely an answer to prayer.

Here’s the recap of that trip- Tennessee and New England Trip Recap – Awaken Florida

On Friday morning, I was invited to a private gathering of several hundred Pastors and Leaders that was really powerful.

There were several dynamic speakers there, including Rick Green-the author of the “Biblical Citizenship” course, Bishop Kelvin Cobaris-who is a faith advisor to President Trump, and Florida Senator Ashley Moody. I got to meet Senator Moody afterwards and get this pic with her:

She gave a powerful speech laced with faith filled statements, and afterwards we all prayed over her. I told her when I met her that she was helping Florida become the S O N shine state and she said she smiled. She said never heard that but loved it and might have to use it. Funny.

Here was one of the prayers we all prayed for unity in the church:

While there I also got connected with Pastor Seth Tweedale, who helps run TPUSA Faith for the state of Florida. We will be doing some work together in the future for sure:

On Friday night, we had a decent flow of people at Bayfront and got to minister to a handful of people. I had a conversation with two lukewarm catholic women about the Lord, relationships and life that was pretty fruitful. They both prayed to receive the Lord and were really thankful.

I also met this couple from Jacksonville. When the husband came up to me, he asked if he could pray for me because he saw in the spirit that an unclean spirit was trying to attack me. Here they are:

I figured it was because one of my online posts went viral last week- the one where I rebuked the county commission for allowing Witches Night Out.

It has been seen nearly 100,000 times on Facebook and Instagram. Here it is- https://www.facebook.com/share/v/18fgcmkTUc/

I would imagine that there are some spells being cast against me so PLEASE pray for me a little extra over the next week or two.

On Saturday morning, I attended a rally organized by the new liberal school board, hosted by an apostate “church” and keynoted by David Jolly, the man running for Governor against Byron Donalds.

It was bad.

I posted about this rally on Facebook and so far, it has over 160,000 views Check that post out here- https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Q24fX8G9E/

On Saturday evening, we had a powerful time at Riverwalk. Many children prayed to receive the Lord, and one little boy who we prayed with a while back came running up to me and told me that he missed me and hung around a lot. At another point, a young man came up to me and thanked me for ministering to him recently He said he’s been doing much better in his walk with the Lord since then.

We ministered to several adults too, including this man:

One cute but sad moment was when a 7-year-old girl came up for prayer and then went to get her little sister so we could pray over her too. The little sister immediately climbed on my lap and was pretty much attached to me the entire night. I came to learn that the dad isn’t around so clearly there was a void there that God used me to fill for a brief moment.

Here’s me holding her while preaching:

We got to minister to the mom that night too, which was great.

At the very end of the night, as we were about to leave, a young girl came over and asked one of our team for prayer. When I came and talked to her, she began travailing and repenting on the spot. She confessed that she had been far away from God and knew she was in sin. She recommitted herself to Jesus and we ministered to her and her friend (who was also a prodigal) for almost an hour.

Here we are after:

Here’s a text she sent me the next day:

Keep her lifted up.

On Sunday, we had a fruitful time at Siesta Beach, and we got to give out many tracts and gifts and pray for several people. We were also joined by a couple (Amy and Brian) that saw my commission video on Instagram and wanted to get involved. Amy used to be into witchcraft pretty heavily and used to go to the drum circle. She got radically delivered a few years ago and now she’s serving Jesus.

Here’s her sharing her testimony:

I’m excited to get back out on the mission fields this weekend. Let’s be praying for good weather!

Love and blessings,

CV
