Team Jesus Update: June 12th, 2026

Happy Friday Saints! And Happy Faith and Family Month!

When this month began and I started seeing Mayor after Mayor in Florida make the proclamation that in their cities- Faith (in Jesus) and Godly Family would be celebrated instead of homosexuality, I was SO encouraged. There were about 25 Mayors that came on board with it too, which is amazing.

Then, a few days into June, we had a VERY unusual (and VERY positive) shift in the weather that I felt like was a sign from God. A cold front came through the state and dropped our dew point significantly, which dramatically lowered the humidity.

Watch this very interesting video about this drop in humidity to see how rare it is for this to happen in June:

As I was meditating on this, the Lord reminded me of a Word He gave me back in December after I was asked to help lead the local chapter of the Faith and Family Month movement. He said that the movement would be like “salt” to our region.

Here’s a video from our January meeting where I shared some of this Word:

The Lord had showed me a parable back then about how this movement, like salt, would pull the “moisture” of bad ideas out of our region to protect souls and minds from spoiling.

What a sign from God to have an extremely rare weather phenomenon come through the state, right at the beginning of the month, that LITERALLY pulled moisture out of the air. I love how God works!

For days, I was beaming with encouragement over what we were seeing and over Gods clear and demonstrated pleasure over what was happening. Then it got even better. The day before my birthday, I got word that Governor Desantis officially made June 2026, Faith and Family Month in the ENTIRE STATE of Florida!

Talk about an amazing birthday gift!!!! And talk about a BOLD proclamation!

Then, the next day, I opened up my email to find this:

An email from the Governor’s office thanking me for requesting this proclamation back in January!

Now, to be transparent, although it was originally my idea to petition the Governor, and although I was the first to submit an official proclamation request, I’m not fully convinced that he would have signed it if this coalition of pastors and leaders had not gone to Tallahassee to officially lobby for it in March.

I was invited to be part of this group, but we only had 24 hours’ notice, and I had tons of appointments that day (it would have required 11 hours of driving), so I passed. Looking back, I wish I would have gone, but praise God that one way or another, it all came together!

And look at the boldness of our education secretary’s response to this proclamation:

I am so grateful to be in the Son Shine State!

As I was preparing to write this, I remembered a trip that Sofiya, Augast and I took on New Years Day 2026 to the spot where they say Florida was discovered by Ponce DeLeon. We prayed for an even mightier move of God over “LaFlorida” (it’s original name) and this certainly feels like an answer to prayer. Here we are in front of the statue of him.

The rest of my birthday was great. I spent the first hour or so watching videos about a historic air battle that Israel fought that day, called Operation Mole Cricket 19. The Lord always inspires me through the details of what happened during that battle:

They say this was one of the biggest air battles in history and that it was such a dominant victory for Israel (fought with new and upgraded technology never seen before) that it changed warfare forever.

Here’s a neat 3-minute video about it:

Just like Israels military victories in the Bible, there are SO many lessons and parables that we can extrapolate from this victory also. I encourage you to dig into it a little bit and let the Lord speak to you.

Pretty cool too that historians say that this victory is what gave the USSR (who had supplied the weapons to Syria) the clear understanding that they could never defeat America (because we gave Israel the technology to beat Syria). Given that, they say that this loss became a catalyst for the fall of the Soviet Union, which happened several years later.

Later that day, with warfare and militaries on my mind, we decided to take a short trip down to port Charlotte to visit the Military Heritage Museum, and I felt like there was something there I needed to see. When I got there, I saw that there were 3 slabs from the Berlin Wall and it felt like such a cool God wink.

The next day, June 10th, was Azaleas 50th day outside the womb. That day, I took the difficult step to secure a burial plot and schedule a funeral. Interestingly, when I got to the baby area to see the available plots, I saw this gravestone and felt like it was a God wink:

I purchased the plot right next to Jubilee, and we scheduled the funeral for this Sunday.

That same evening, I decided to watch some of the NBA Finals (which I haven’t followed since 2016), to root for the New York Knicks, since one of my best clients is a huge Knicks fan. The Knicks were getting absolutely crushed in the first half so I turned the game off at halftime, thinking there was no way they would ever come back.

To my shock, when I checked the score the next day, I discovered that the Knicks mounted the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history and ended up winning by 1 point:

I couldn’t help but feel like this was a sign from God, that on Azaleas 50th day, the day we made the funeral arrangements, that the biggest comeback in all 80 years of NBA Finals was pulled off. I was like “Lord, could this be a sign that she will make the biggest death comeback in recorded history???” I guess we will see!

I’ve watched this clip of the games ending about 30 times already and it definitely stirs me up with faith every time I see it!

As for the outreaches this past weekend, they were great.

On Friday, the renovation was still going on, so we had lots of traffic. Many tracts were given out and many seeds were sown. A good amount of people were prayed for too. Here’s just a few pics:

One really cool moment was getting to pray with a 26-year-old man named Steven, who said he was raised catholic but had felt disconnected from God since he was 13. He prayed with us to receive the Lord and left encouraged that God was still watching over him.

On Saturday, there were lots of kids at the park and it was very fruitful.

Before anyone got there, I was walking around praying and I was stopped by 3 young guys who liked my Jesus Calling shirt. They were all pseudo believers, and I got to testify to them, share the Gospel with them, and then they prayed with me to receive the Lord.

Shortly after, the other laborers arrived, and right after we started setting up a young boy came up to me and told me that we had ministered to him out there about two years earlier and that it really meant a lot to him. He also said he was still reading the Bible and following God. What a cool testimony to hear that just one meeting left such an impression on him.

Here he is:

Throughout the rest of the night, many kids were coming to the table:

And lots were coming to pray with us. Here’s a few clips of a bunch of kids praying:

Such a powerful night!

On Sunday, the beach was packed. Lot of people stopped to listen, many took tracts, and a number of people were prayed over. Here’s a few pics:

A 12-year-old boy even asked us for prayer for his sister who he said was suicidal. So sad!

At another point, a drummer from the drum circle came up and told me that he thought that my prayer over him the previous week saved his life. I prayed for him on Sunday and he got really sick a few days later. According to him, the sickness could have killed him, but he miraculously pulled through. Pretty cool that he attributed the prayer (and God) with saving his life.

It was really cool to see these two young guys get baptized too:

Such a great night!

BIG thanks to all that came out this past weekend- Susan, Larry, Gene, Laney, Sara, Amber, Michelle, Bailey, Gavin, Bram, Lucas, Jose, Ernest, Ken and friend, Karina, Jacob, Stephanie and Jenny. Great work!!!

I’m excited to see what God does this weekend. Hopefully many souls get saved and hopefully Azalea makes a Knicks style comeback!

See you soon! Love and blessings!
