What Is The Joy Project?

Greetings friend and co-laborer!

You are probably on this page because you are curious about what The Joy Project is, and more importantly-what it can do for you and for the causes that you care about.

First and foremost, we must begin by acknowledging an “elephant in the room”, when it comes to our faith in Christ. In Jesus’ final message to His disciples, He told them:

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20

Mark’s gospel adds this commandment also:

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation….So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

Mark 16:15

So here we are. It is the year 2026, and one look around makes us realize that many believers throughout the past few generations, have missed that mark. That is why society has become so sinful and broken.

But…can you imagine what the world would look like right now if every single Christian (of which there are billions) made fulfilling these commands a top priority?

Individuals, families, schools, cities, governments and everything in between would radically change for the better.

Well, although getting billions of people mobilized around the right cause would certainly take a mountain moving act of God, you and I can still make a meaningful difference (and an eternal one) with even just a few hours a week.

This is where The Joy Project comes in.

The Joy Project’s purpose in life is to connect mission minded believers with ministries that are making a real difference in their community, so they can be the reason why Joy floods heaven

I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

Luke 15:7
