Happy Thursday Saints! Hope all is well!
What a week it has been!
On Friday, we celebrated the beginning of the Biblical New Year- 5787, and it was a great night. We had about 7 people with us from Victory Church, and some of our local and out of town friends were with us too. Counting children, we had 16 laborers with us total.
Shortly after we got started, an older woman named Gordana came up and asked us what we were doing and when I told her-she was very happy and intrigued. She was from eastern Europe, and she moved to America over 30 years ago. She grew up Eastern orthodox, and she said she had a love for God, but she fell away from the church when she moved here and didn’t really have a relationship with God or much knowledge of scripture.
We started pouring the Word into her and she soaked it up like a sponge. She really looked like she was being reawakened. We prayed for her and encouraged her to get plugged back into a church and start reading the Bible and she said she would. She was really happy and thankful when she left, it was awesome.
As the night went on, we ministered to a good number of believers and gave out some tracts. Here’s a few young believers that Susan got to minister to:
We also met a man named Tyler who recently accepted Jesus. He told us he wanted to go all in and get baptized so we invited him to come to Siesta on Sunday- more on that in a moment.
At one point, most of the Victory team went off 2 by 2 across the park and they came back fired up, telling us all about their Divine appointments. Some people prayed with them to receive Jesus too; they were so pumped. It was our first time ministering with them and they seemed super encouraged. Fun to see!!

On the subject of the New Year, here is a short prophetic message regarding 5787 that I really bore witness with.
On Saturday, we had a great crowd at the Riverwalk, and it was a real Jesus party. Our friend Rob came to lead worship and he’s like a 70’s rocker turned worship leader. Here’s a few video clips:
Many kids and several adults came to the table too, and we prayed with most of them.
This boy came right up to me and boldly asked me for a full Bible. I prayed with him to receive Jesus and gave him one. So cool!
It was also really cool to see this young man named Ethan, whom I ministered to a few months ago. He stayed for about 30 minutes getting discipleship and was clearly hungry. Such an encouragement.
Another young man whom we led to the Lord recently came back again to see us too and a woman received the Lord who wanted to get baptized, so we invited her to come to Siesta on Sunday. More on that later.
It was really cool to see so many laborers out there that night too. 14 came for the outreach and 12 of them preached on the microphone! What an army!
On Sunday, we had quite a memorable night on Siesta. To our surprise, both the people we met on Friday and Saturday who said they wanted to come and get baptized…did.
Two turned into 3, when the woman’s son decided to get baptized. Here’s the whole family. We believe the dad is going to be baptized soon:
3 Turned into 4 when a young man who we met on the shoreline decided to go all in and get baptized.
4 turned to 7 when a family came over and the children asked to be baptized.
Then Michelle got baptized so we had 8 total. It was wild.

It says one led to 6 because it was his baptism that kicked off the entire string.
One other cool moment was when I went to give a water, then a tract to a Hindu guy, and he said he didn’t want either.
Cool that someone got this on camera because after he refused it, I looked him in the eye and told him that with Jesus we are all equal, there is no caste system.
His eyes had a look of revelation and excitement when I said that, even others that saw him could see it. It was pretty cool to watch him get that breath of fresh air and realize that the Hinduism belief that you are stuck under the generational curse of your caste may not be true.
There were also a good number of people stopping for prayer and getting tracts and Bibles. Here’s one woman getting prayed over:
It was another night packed with laborers too- 12 total.
That means that we had 42 people if you count the repeats, and 37 if you don’t. We also had 15 churches represented.
That sounds like a move of God. What do you think?
Monday morning, I took a 7am flight to Kansas City and I flew from Sarasota airport. While I was there, I ran into one of the drummers that I’ve been ministering to for a while, and he said he quit the circle because he sees how “dark” it is and he doesn’t like it. So cool!!!
I was literally only in Kansas City for 24 hours, but it was an AMAZING trip:
There was SO much that God showed me while I was there, I’m going to need another week to fully process it and make a report. Let’s just say it was one of those trips where you could really see His fingerprints on all the details. Will share more this weekend in person too!
I would have stayed in KC longer, but I wanted to get home for the Sarasota School Board meeting on Tuesday. This meeting was so much better than the last one and it was opened in prayer by a Pastor from Covenant Life Church, which is worth listening to. I led the entire room into applause after he was introduced too which was cool.
My speech was 2 minutes long and it starts around 1:18:00. I have this link cued up on the last minute of the woman who spoke before me so you could see the contrast of what I was following.
I’m excited for the next meeting! It’ll be October 20th at 6pm.
