Team Jesus Update: October 1, 2026

Greetings Beloved! Happy Thursday!

It’s been another great week.

Last Thursday, I had the opportunity to go to the kickoff event for 40 Days for Life, and I found out that a baby was saved on Day 1!

That actually makes 29 babies saved in just this calendar year.

I also found out later that on the second day, the Planned Parenthood building was put up for sale!

This is an incredible miracle because this “clinic” is one of the biggest death mills in all of Florida- 25,000 square feet!

On this note, I highly encourage you to join the 40 days for life campaign, as they need a lot of help. Info below

On Friday, we had good foot traffic at Bayfront, and we got to plant some good seeds. My favorite moment was when a man walked by with his family and I asked him if he knew about Jesus. He said yes.

Then I asked him if he followed Jesus, and in a very gentle and transparent way- he told me that he fell away from the faith many years ago. He didn’t stop to talk but I told him that Jesus loved him and was seeking after him. He took a gospel tract and a water, and he thanked me and gave me a fist bump. You could tell that it was a meaningful moment for him.

I caught this picture of him as Christine was watering the seed before he left:

We also got to encourage a number of believers too, including a woman who left the Jehovah’s Witness cult after speaking to us about a year ago.

It was also great to have a new soldier with us on the battlefield too- Benjamin from Hope International. He even shared some powerful God stories on the mic which was great:

After Bayfront, I went over to 5 points to encourage the team from Ekballo that was out there ministering, and it was great to see them releasing the Glory over downtown.

Here’s a video I took:

So glad to see them being consistent in bringing the Kingdom into the streets. Team Jesus!

On Saturday, I was thankful that a team from Generation Church stepped in to take over the outreach so I could spend the day with my son and take him to the USA Men’s National Team soccer game.

It was extra special for him, not only because soccer is the only game he’s ever played competitively but also because the US played against Peru and my son is half Peruvian.

The US won pretty easily. Here is the video of the go-ahead goal:

I heard things went really well at the Riverwalk too. Here are the two pics I was sent:

On Sunday, we had a solid crew and lots of people were stopping, listening, getting prayer and taking gifts. It was awesome. I also got to pray with a number of children to receive the Lord, and minister to some believers who really needed it- like these young guys from Central Florida:

We also had quite a bit of worship that night too with Amber, Ricardo and Jill. Here’s one video I took:

The other nice thing was that the drum circle was pretty weak again. It really seems like something is shifting there so let’s keep believing!

Last week I also got connected with Matthew Wade, the director of the Sarasota and Manatee County chapters of The Good News Club and on Tuesday, I had the opportunity to attend a meeting in person.

It was awesome!

Over 20 kids came after school, heard the Gospel, heard testimonies, and were encouraged to share their faith with others. They are in 43 Elementary Schools in the area, and the clubs have between 20-60 kids each, 2/3rds of them from unchurched homes.

Here’s one video I took:

They are now one of our partners now on Joy Project so check out the app for ways to serve with them.

Speaking of schools, yesterday, I got some REALLY great news- I found out that our state is revamping science curriculums and is leaning towards reintroducing creation and intelligent design back into schools.

Yet another reason why I am soooo grateful to be in the SONshine state!

Hope to see you on the streets soon!
